I live, work, and play on the traditional homelands of the Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo indigenous peoples.

Hi! My name is Krystal. I love being in nature, where you’ll often find me with my dog and child exploring forests, beaches, trails, or camping. My favorite movie genres are dark comedies, 80s coming of age, and documentaries about consciousness and the planet. I love photography, stargazing, and collecting crystals and rocks, books, and plants - one can never have too many! I practice mindfulness, study Buddhism, and believe that learning and healing are a continuous journey.

I am passionate about helping people of all backgrounds work through difficulties and reclaim their spirit and selves. Having gone through my own trauma, I understand what it is like to struggle and suffer, but also heal and gain strength; this fuels the hope I have to help survivors. I have particular interest in advocating for and working with survivors of sexual trauma - including abuse, assault, rape, incest, or violence. It is an incredible honor and privilege to walk alongside another human and witness their growth towards empowerment and self-compassion. This is something that I find beautiful and inspiring.

I obtained my Master’s degree in Counseling from Sonoma State University and my Bachelor’s degree in Literature from University of California, Santa Cruz. I began working with children impacted by adverse experiences and survivors of sexual trauma, before naturally pivoting to somatic trauma therapy. I have since been practicing psychotherapy for over a decade. I have specialized training in sexual trauma, as well as experience working with clients with histories of childhood trauma (complex trauma) and attachment wounds. Additionally, I am part of two monthly somatic trauma therapist consultation groups to ensure I am getting support to better serve my clients. I help clients in coming home to themselves and their bodies with a somatic, relational, and trauma-informed approach.
