Native Land Acknowledgment

I live, work, and play on the stolen, ancestral homelands of the Southern Pomo, Coast Miwok, Graton Rancheria peoples who have stewarded these waters, valleys, and woodlands since time immemorial. I honor their enduring connection to this land and acknowledge my presence on occupied territory that is due to the ongoing, devastating legacy of colonization. My actions—continuously seeking learning, fighting for equity, bridging accessible care to these communities—are small steps toward giving back, remembering that my privilege calls me to meaningful care. May this acknowledgment move beyond words into ongoing relationship and connection to this sacred land.
