Death to Rape...Rise of Sacred Feminine Rage

By default, we currently live in an unbalanced world driven by greed, domination, and disconnection. Earth is abused and exploited, her forests slaughtered and oceans polluted, and humans increasingly populate with little foresight to sustainability and cohabitation with others - human, animal, plant, the ecosystem.

Corporations run the world to a disgusting degree of sociopathy, where insatiable overconsumption of money and resources - at the cost to countless souls - are revered and continuously reinforced by patriarchal systems.

This post begins as such, because I believe the current strcutures in place - whether it be elite university institutions (i.e. Cornell), mega-corporations and billionaires, the judicial system - have and are in a position to promote violence against marginalized people and communities including but not limited to women, trans people, people of color, undocumented brothers and sisters, and the disabled.

If you have been following the news as of late, the Cornell 7 is a horrific example of our institutions's deliberate, malicious, cowardly failing of Jane Doe (rape survivor in the case, but really could be any and all of us).

Cornell is not an exception of a failed system working to protect the most privileged, wealthiest people or entities, but another devastating, unacceptable norm that must be revolted against. What happened at Cornell is reflective of the sickness, darkness, and evil that is rampant right in front of us, much like the Epstein files. This national and collective awakening to the darkness in our neighborhood cannot be ignored or dismissed any further. Violence and domination against women by the forces that have been in power are now more than ever at the forefront, despite this toxic epidemic existing for a long time.

We as a a collective species are called forth to rise up against what is and has been happening for centuries: violence against women, misogyny, objectification and shaming of women, rape culture, toxic masculinity, child abuse and trafficking, and bystanders who say and do nothing.

It is beyond past due for us all to unite in our collective anger and rage against the toxic, harmful systems in place that hate on women.

It is time to recognize, admit, and face the horrors that have been happening in our country and beyond - of domination against women, but also its root in colonialism and genocide. The Cornell case is yet another symptom of patriarchy's dysfunction that must end...a tidal wave of the violent system that we have been raised with whether we know it or not.

By acknowledging our shared participation (even if unconscious) in this system, we are then able to begin the initiation process of remorse and grief, so that we can reunite in protest to create something better - a world that is safe for all people despite appearance, bodies, or background.

There is power in our voices and our bodies, in the masses of us people, in our rage. Rage and fury are immense forces that command action, unapologetically demand space, and are forces to be reckoned with.

Rage is uncontrollable, fiercely wild, and untamed. Sacred feminine rage can be destructive to boldly clear the way for the end of greed, division, hate, rape, and towards the construction of unity, belonging, peace, and respect.

Do you feel it? Feminine rage is potent and it is here. Together, we can channel this energy into intentional conversations, gatherings, protests, space holding for others, or self-care - fueled by current times and the rage of our sisters, mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and ancestors.

Sacred feminine rage is an unstoppable storm in response to the unacceptable structures and patterns oppressing not only women, but earth and the collective species as a whole; for we are not separate but indeed together here affected by the ripples that affect us all.

Rage is not empowered by or only for women, but belongs to all people who are ready to revolt against the systems that have been destroying society and earth. Enough is enough! Let’s say NO! to rape, violence, abuse, greed, destruction, and oppression. We must gather together - in pairs or in masses - to protest patriarchy and cultivate feminine power.

How does one embark on such a daunting task?

  1. Start with yourself by taking control of your well-being: Focus on what’s within your control - what you ingest, what you put into your body, how you spend your time, who you spend your time with, moving your body if you’re able-bodied, centering yourself in nature if that brings you comfort and connection to yourself. Equip yourself by nourishing and strengthening your mind, body, spirit. Ground yourself if you feel called to be present, and if it helps you show up better for yourself and loved ones. Seek professional support and services if needed.

  2. Expand outwards if it’s within your capacity and ability: Talk with others (one-on-ones count) about what’s important to you, vote for people who best represent your values and visions for the collective, have hard conversations or end them if you need to, be amongst friends and allies who help you feel safe, affirmed, and seen. Channel the momentous power of rage by standing up and speaking up for yourself and others, creating art, writing posts on your (current or new) Substack, contacting your local representatives or signing petitions.

  3. Organize as a collective: Gather and mobilize with groups that speak to you, join your local protest, travel for a protest, join group chats or affinity organizations, volunteer at grassroots events, organize friends together to make protest signs to bring to events or campaigns that matter to you
